Ep. 138: What Monkey Experimenters Don't Want You to See: Undercover Video Exposes Abuse at U.Wisconsin Primate Lab

THE PETA PODCAST - see all episodes

PETA undercover investigation video reveals the horrific conditions at one of the major primate research centers in the nation, this one at the University of Wisconsin Madison. The video shows how monkeys are going crazy in their cages waiting to be bred or experimented on. Monkeys are physically and psychologically damaged, pulling out their hair, acting overly aggressive, all general signs of the stress of living in a lab. For most of the monkeys, this is the only life they'll know, as monkeys are bred here for use in experiments.  See the video of the monkeys at PETA.org. Send a message to the labs here. The PETA Podcast PETA, the world's largest animal rights organization, is 6.5 million strong and growing. This is the place to find out why. Hear from insiders, thought leaders, activists, investigators, politicians, and others why animals need more than kindness—they have the right not to be abused or exploited in any way.
