After a shooting at a community pool, Anthony Porter, a known gang affiliate, is arrested for the crime. He is convicted using eyewitness testimony. Years later, a Professor has his students look into the case, and they end up getting a confession from someone else, a man named Alstory Simon. Porter is Freed, and Simon is convicted. But then, Simon also ends up exonerated, after the witnesses that helped convict him recanted their statements.
