Ep.140: Tiger King Sequel? Tim Stark On the Loose as PETA and Fed Marshalls Rescue His Abandoned Big Cats
THE PETA PODCAST - see all episodes
Tim Stark of "Tiger King" fame was known to be even badder than Joe Exotic among those in the big cat petting zoo industry. Stark's sadism made him stand out. In September, PETA shut him down after a three-year lawsuit found Stark and his Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park to be in violation of the Endangered Species Act. Brittany Peet, general Counsel of PETA Foundation's Captured Animal Law Enforcement (CALE), breaks down the case in this conversation with Emil Guillermo. Peet describes how a convoy of federal marshalls accompanied PETA to rescue the animals abandoned by Stark who at this time has yet to be apprehended by authorities.
